Not sure about the giant, but I know the Asura got a Euro AND Australian release. Got my Asura code from a copy of PC Powerplay.

Ok People the Mini Destroyer is not rare AKA (PC Gamer Mag Thats Gonna be Thousands if not Millions of Destroyer codes) nore any close to as cool as the Other Minis released to china. And for the Ausys NCsoft Sees you as Mabey 10% of the Retail Game Market Thats why it would be a wasted promotion to release special minis they only do it to Europe and china cause of the HUGE PLAYER BASE.

Very Good Thread Anet should Take the total number for each mini that was special released outside of america and cut it in half than release in america It would only seem fare. (dont try to say america get other special things WE DONT CARE ABOUT THOSE-Same Minis should get released Everywhere-other Promotions can be Country Specfic).

The Asura minipet was given out in the UK a few months ago in PC Gamer and PC Zone magazines which was where I got mine from.

They dont have to make special releases just for AU they need to make it so we fall under NC Europe's promotional jurisdiction, which at the moment we dont.

IE, for everything else (support, payment etc) we are European but for any promo specific to that area we are not - which is less than ideal.

yeah i know america gets the one new mini but it would have been nice to offer like 10 minis(being random like the bday gift instead for everyone). that all im saying. andi do know that the amount of codes gving out is a large number .anet wants to make mini alittle more common that why there giving away more for contests and not making new ones.

OP, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT

The european magazines offer a LOTTERY.

1. Only a limited number of rare pets (1000 per magazine rumored) - all others get nothing!
2. The Germans have the best offer, if they fail to get a rare "Asian" mini, they get a guaranteed Asura. So 95%-99% get a silly Asura, others the license to print money.

I asked a Canadian to get me the magazine... and if you ask me, a guaranteed destroyer is better than 95% chance to get nothing or an asura.

No promotion here in czechia for example. They also forgot Poland.

Would be fairer to have non-exclusive minis, a lot of the asian ones seem to have silly reasons to be given out. First 50 to sign up to NF? Deserves mini why?

As I've mentioned several times, there are several plans for players to be able to capture a mini. Not all are regional -- the Halloween Contest is a global as I could make it, with local laws and all. Some are regional -- the European distribution, case in point. And that's ok! We're doing another distribution for North America -- watch for details next week. In the meantime, we do our best to serve all regions, but sometimes it doesn't work out. Cases of saying "We never get anything" or blaming the studio for distributor foul-ups are just not fair, so let's no go there again. For the 412th time.

I posted about this last week on one of the other forum pages and pointed out that what was needed was fair treatment of all players worldwide.

My main point was that the release code for these pets should all occurr at the same time.

Pointed out that the US getting one pet and Europe 2 different pets, also pointed out that last time Australia was left out.

So thats 2 threads making the same or similar points

be nice if arenanet made a statement of some kind, maybe they could sort out another way for players to get the code.
